7 Day Culture and Nature Tour

Arrive in Bangkok late evening and go to your hotel.

DAY ONE

Spend the day on your own relaxing or enjoying the sights of Bangkok. Depart this afternoon for Chiang Mai and go to your hotel or guest house.

DAY TWO

This morning see elephants at workas they would deep in the teakwood forest then a one hour elephant ride through the forest and stream. Enjoy a Thai lunch at a beautiful Orchid and Butterfly farm. This afternoon visit Chiang Mai's famous city temples including Wat Umong, Wat Chedi Luang, and Wat Prasing ending at your hotel or guest house at 4pm. Tonight at 7pm your will enjoy a Kontoke Dinner accompanied by Thai and Hill Tribe music and dance.

DAY THREE

Today enjoy the beautiful scenery of Doi Inthanon National Park. The park includes the highest mountain in Thailand and the home of many exotic plants, wildlife, waterfalls and Hill Tribe people. Tonight you are on your own to dine at one of Chiang Mai's many fine restaurants, tour the famous night bazaar for shopping, and perhaps indulge yourself in a relaxing Ancient Thai Massage.

DAY FOUR

This morning visit Wat Doi Suthep Temple located on the mountain top overlook Chiang Mai, and the flower gardens of the King's Phuping Palace. This afternoon tour the many handicraft shops of Borsang and Sankampaeng which includes, lacquer ware, celadon, silk and textiles, wood carving, umbrella and sa paper making, silverware, and hill tribe crafts. Tonight you are on your own for dinner and to explore Chiang Mai's exciting night life.

DAY FIVE

Leave this morning for Baan Thaton visiting beautiful Wat Thaton Temple. Lunch will be on the temple grounds then a long tail boat ride to Chiang Rai and your hotel or Guest House. This evening you are on your own for dinner at one of Chiang Rai's many restaurants and to explore the Chiang Rai night life.

DAY SIX

Today we visit Doi Tung, Mae Sai and the notorious Golden Triangle returning to Chiang Rai. You are on your own this evening for dinner and shopping at the Chiang Rai night bazaar.
